Prestonwood Church Plano Campus

Ambassadors Football is committed to providing a variety of soccer clinics designed to give soccer players extra training throughout the year. These programs are geared towards teaching specific skills in a small group setting, conducted by licensed Christian coaches to ensure that players get quality time on the ball in a positive environment.

Currently there are clinics happening in the Dallas area at the Prestonwood Church Plano Campus.

  • Sessions focus on individual soccer skills development (ball mastery in the context of the game of soccer).
  • At the start and at the end of the clinic, the coaches will pray with the players and share a 1-minute Bible based team talk.
  • After you sign up, you will receive a welcome email from Ambassadors Football to confirm that you have registered for the clinic and some things to know before coming out to the first session.

2024 Prestonwood Spring Soccer Skills Clinic 1

WHO: Children in Pre-K to 4th grade

COST: Pre-K to 4th grade $150 per player for an 8-week session 1 x a week ($300 for twice a week going on Monday and Friday)

DATES: Pre-K to 4th grade 8 Mondays and/or 8 Fridays starting on February 5th, 2024
Mondays – February 5, 12, 19, 26, March 4, 11, 18, 25
Fridays – February 9, 16, 23, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

TIME: PreK – 4th grade 5:00pm-5:45pm AND 5:45pm-6:30pm

LOCATION:

All clinics are held at the field next to the Missions Building at the Prestonwood Plano Campus soccer fields located at 6801 W Park Blvd. Plano, TX 75093.

NOTE: Please wear shin guards and cleats. Bring water and your own pumped up soccer ball (U4-U7) size 3 and (U8-U10) size 4.

Coaching Staff
Stef van Meerveld (the Netherlands) had his playing career in the Netherlands (2nd division), he has more than 30 years of coaching and playing experience at all levels in the Netherlands, US and around the world. He is holding a UEFA B and a Futsal II license from the Dutch Soccer Federation and a United States Soccer Federation “B” license and an Advanced National Coaching license with United Soccer Coaches. He is the PCA Varsity Girls Soccer Head Coach.
